01 / Global
Built for questions that cross borders.
Multilingual discovery connects people with relevant work from independent organizations worldwide.
The Global Fact-checking Chatbot explores how independent fact-checkers can make published work easier to discover across languages and borders without losing source, context, or editorial control.
Published fact-checks carry deep local knowledge, but language and geography can keep that work from reaching the people who need it.
Conceived in 2024 and first discussed at Global Fact 11 in Bosnia, the project explores a shared, responsible way to make verified information easier to discover - without losing the source, context, or editorial independence behind it.
Led by members of the International Fact-Checking Network and governed by its participating organizations.
